Hi Mo, I have been reading your blog and following your every move!! Looks like you are having a spectacular time and learning a lot. How many teachers/adults are in the garden and kitchen helping the students? Tracy from Beard.
Mo: I love the video. It is neat to see the kids so involved and so skilled at cooking. Was that ravioli dough they were rolling out? Hope you enjoy the "football" game this week-end. Is it the same as soccer? Tonia
Tracy...classes are between 25-30 kids. There's a kitchen and a garden specialist within each part of the program. The KG program relies heavily on volunteers - who come from all walks of life! Shorthanded at both Yarra and Westgarth, I was tossed into the action!!
Tonia...yep, spinach and ricotta ravioli (delicious!). I'm going to experience "footy" tonight...it looks like a combo of rugby, football and soccer...no padding, but lots and lots of bruises and scrapes. Should be an interesting and thoroughly Aussie experience!!
